Tina Turbin Live Radio Interviews. Come listen.
Be the first to know: I just wanted to personally invite you to hear two LIVE radios interviews I will be interviewed on, Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 1:00PM EST on Lynn Serafinn's Garden of the Soul at http://blogtalkradio.com/Lynn-Serafinn.
She addresses community leaders and others who are actively making a positive and inspirational impact upon the world.
We will be discussing children's literature, our responsibility as parents and leaders and I will offer a tip-sheet for anyone with goals in writing children's books.
Then at 6:00PM EST this same day the "Single Again! Now What?" Talk Radio Show: http://SingleAgainNowWhatRadio.com.
She covers many issues to help others and this title is misleading, as it is not for single parents. In my interview we will be talking about children's literacy, children's literature, schools, family and real statistics I need to share.
I'll also be offering a different tip-sheet from this show.
Fondly,
Tina Turbin

Danny the Dragon had a wonderful visit at St. Joseph's Hospital
The Danny the Dragon East Coast Book Tour is going strong and has proven to be incredibly successful! One particular stand-out event was the wonderful visit that Danny and I paid to the kids at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. Eyes were "wide open" as I read the book, many of them with family members by their side. So engaging and delightful to spend time with these "future authors". Our tour schedule is filling up quickly – definitely visit www.DannyTheDragon.com to set up a visit to your local school, hospital, library or event.

When most people think about healthful, gluten-free or wheat-free recipes, the first thing that may come to mind is, "will the recipe taste good?" Even the most discriminating palates will find such delectable treats as gluten-free scones, muffins and brownies to be quite delicious, not to mention the tasty main dishes that can be put together. Try some gluten-free cooking, you might be surprised! For recipes and more information, visit http://GlutenFreeHelp.info.

Family time is critical. Don't miss out.
With our hectic and busy work schedules, it has become a task in itself to ensure that time is scheduled for family. Taking time to appreciate loved ones with un-divided attention is an essential activity. Whether it's play time for 30 minutes with the kids or a dinner out with the family or even a date night with your spouse, take time to appreciate the ones you love. Time can go by rather quickly if you don't stop for a moment to do the above. For more information, visit http://TinaTurbin.com/blog.

Where do you find cosmetics that are non-toxic, mineral-infused and non-drying?
Ladies, I've found a wonderful resource for non-toxic, mineral-infused, non-drying cosmetics. What a concept! Most of the products on the market today are filled with chemicals and artificial colors and various other harmful additives that, over time, slowly remove the healthful glow from our skin. I do believe that this company is very close to discovering the coveted fountain of youth. For more information, visit http://GlutenFreeHelp.Info/c/gluten-free-products/

Low-cost solutions to relieving stress
How fortunate we are to have a multitude of ways to de-stress at the end of the week. Many of these don't even cost a penny! Spending time with friends is itself a form of de-stressing, and the interesting fact is that scientific research has proven this. I'm sure you can remember the fun you had the last time you were with a good friend. Make sure to keep incorporating "friend" time into your week! Growing number of people are becoming healthier.
On a continual basis, I am finding that many of the women that have founded gluten-free/wheat-free companies and/or campaigns were driven to do so as a result of a personal experience and a desire to help others. It's so refreshing to know that there is quite a large network out there of like-minded women, who want to sincerely educate and empower others to improve their health.
